Organist
This past Christmas was really nice. I should post up some of the recent pictures. problem is, I've taken so many photos that I don't know what to put up. I do have a great story from church service on Christmas Eve that doesn't have a picture to go with it. Man what I would've done to get a picture of this. I went to church with my family. A Lutheran church in Fullerton. I had been spending a lot of time with my friend and his wife who was sick in the hospital. That's peripheral to my story, but it did make me value my own life, and I guess value traditions... like going to church on Christmas Eve. The director of music at the church is supremely talented. Chris played the piano and organ, sang, the whole nine yards- at all four services that night. Keeping everything together, all his soloists and choir members and everything running smoothly. You could tell he'd been there 20 years and knew his !@#$. except you can't say !@#$ in church. You know. Gotta be on your best behavior. Well, this old lady in the third service was certainly not behaving herself. After she took her communion, she turned right to walk along the pew before turning right again at the piano to head back to her seat. But as she passed the piano she leaned over and gave Chris a little hug wrap around the shoulders, then a kiss. Chris managed to keep everything flowing and I don't think anyone in church noticed a thing. We did, though, since we were sitting right there. Then we found out later that the old woman was not only hugging and kissing our gay pianist, Chris, but slipping him some tongue! Merry Chrismas
