Poison Ewwwwwwwwk
There have been many things that have kept me from posting in the last few months... none of them were as deadly as toppling into a poison oak bush. Robin and I were riding, and during one section that was particularly overgrown, I got sucked into a bush. That part of the trail was usually a steep drop, so when I fell, I just laughed and waited 'til he rode by. At the time I thought I was showing him my good luck, but a few days later, this broke out all down my arms.
I missed two weeks of work, fell behind in my classes and was miserable as I had a rash on both arms, my stomach, my very important friend, Richard, the back of my neck, just under my eye, both legs. I've seen people who had it worse, but that was as bad as I need it to get. The brightest side of it all was not the steroids I took that had me gain ten pounds in two weeks, but the terrifically soothing oatmeal baths.
