Weekend, Sweet Weekend

Friday is a terrific day, everybody knows that. Its an even better day when there's a great Laker game on TV. This has been an odd Laker season for all Lakerfans because of all the injuries and whatnot.. kobe's trial, and the high expectations, that we haven't quite lived up to. At the moment, we are in third place. Two and a half games out of first. We just had our first really good game of the season, at home against the first-place kings, and are taking on the second-place Wolves tonight. I'm particularly pumped for the return of Karl Malone. And yes, i admit that I always hated him when he was with the Jazz, but now that he's on our team I not only appreciate his play. I appreciate all the soundbites. See. there aren't any other NBA players named Karl... at least not any good ones. Definitely none that spell it the way i do. I get to hear quotes after the game like "Karl really helped us out tonight." Karl makes key passes, grabs crucial rebounds, and makes the games that much more exciting. I'm so proud of me. The Lakers went on to embarass the Wolves... poor bastards never even made a game of it. Just like the Kings, they must be scratching their heads and wondering if they really have a chance. Lakers are now two games back of the Kings, with nine games to go.
