Life is grand.

All through today's bike ride, I couldn't help but think that soon I'll be riding it with one of my buddies from Taiwan. James moved back to Canada abooot 4 years ago and I haven't seen him since. He was scheduled to fly out on Sept. 11th, back before that date had any significance. His flight was delayed an extra week while the flights stopped. I haven't seen him since he was crashing on my couch those extra few days. Lookin' forward to seeing him. Today's ride was a good one, we actually found some new trails, and both of us took a spill. I went flying off my bike when the chain broke & Robin pedalled his ass up a hill 'til he couldn't pedal anymore and toppled into a bush. I've mentioned how I keep a blog at work. It's amazing to see it start to get momentum. I got an email from the CEO yesterday thanking me for the blog, and he mentioned it at a leadership meeting today as an example of one of the positive things that are happening in our organization. It's good to see the work i put into it being recognized. I have steady comments and dialogue going, which is more than I can say for bullplop.... I'm home, happy, and full of delicious lasagna. Life is grand.
